Magnetic Stripe Hotel Key Cards

Magnetic stripe hotel key cards provide a reliable solution for guest room access while also offering an opportunity to extend your brand through professionally printed card designs. Suitable for hotels, serviced accommodation and guest environments, they combine day-to-day functionality with a consistent guest experience. Cards are supplied with a magnetic stripe and can be matched to the compatibility requirements of your chosen locking system.

Our hotel key cards are produced in 760 micron thickness and are available in either standard PVC or Eco-Degradable PVC. Cards can be finished in either gloss or matt depending on the look and feel you require, although a matt finish is often recommended for darker designs as it can help reduce the appearance of scratches during regular use.
Magnetic stripes are available in either low-coercivity (LoCo) or high-coercivity (HiCo) depending on system requirements, with HiCo offering greater resistance to magnetic wear where cards are handled frequently. Stripe position is fixed to ensure compatibility with standard encoding and reading systems.
Each card also includes a 6mm DDA notch, commonly used to support easier orientation for blind or partially sighted users

When you order through Custom Card Hub, the online artwork system guides you through each stage of the process, from uploading logos, images and text to reviewing your final design. A built-in artwork guide is provided within the portal to help you position content correctly and stay within the safe areas shown.

If you are preparing artwork outside the portal, files should be set up to standard card size: 85.6mm x 54mm, with a 1.1mm bleed on all edges. Because this is a compact format, important text, logos and images should be positioned carefully to ensure they remain clear and readable.

Our hotel key cards are the size of a regular credit card. 85.6mm wide by 54mm high. This is quite a small canvas so please make sure all aspects of your design are visible and that you have allowed for a 1.1mm bleed on all edges.
